The 113th Commencement Ceremony will be in-person on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Greater Zion Stadium.
There will be one ceremony combined with masters, baccalaureate, and associate graduates. The ceremony will NOT be ticketed.

The Utah Tech University 113th Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 3, in Greater Zion Stadium on the UT campus. The processional will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the ceremony will start immediately following the processional. There will be one ceremony combined with masters, baccalaureate and associate graduates.
Greater Zion Stadium Gates open: 5:00 p.m. Guests must be seated by 6:00 p.m.
Graduates Processional line-up: 5:00 p.m. at the Gardner Center Plaza
Processional Start time: 6:00 p.m. the ceremony will start directly following the processional.
Graduates will assemble with their college no later than 5:45 p.m., north of the Gardner Student Center. All participants are required to wear their cap and gown. Tassels should be worn on the right side and will be moved to the left upon graduation. The processional will begin at 6:00 p.m.
A detailed line-up map according to your college will be posted at the bottom of this page. There will not be a rehearsal.
Your seating in Greater Zion Stadium is reserved. Graduates are to remain for the entire commencement ceremony and must remain seated except during the awarding of degrees.
Graduate Seating Accommodation for Students and Guests with Disabilities
Graduates and guests with disabilities attending Commencement can request accommodations through the Disability Resource Center by phone at 435-652-7516 (voice). Please give us reasonable prior notice to arrange the specific accommodations you may need. Reserved seating will be available for the hearing impaired. American Sign Language Interpreters will be available upon request.
All graduating students should attend the Grad Fair where they will receive their cap and gown, honors stole and cord, gifts, food, have the opportunity to purchase UT memorabilia and join the UT Alumni Association. The Grad Fair will be held at the Stephen & Marcia Wade Alumni House (across from the Greater Zion Stadium).

Honor Graduates
Honors regalia will be available for pick-up during the Grad Fair. Spring 2024 honors graduates are recognized based on their Fall 2023 GPA. Summer graduates are not eligible for honors until 2024 Commencement. Your transcript will reflect any honors you have earned based on your final GPA at graduation. For any questions regarding your eligibility email graduation@utahtech.edu.
College Receptions & Awards
Individual College receptions will be held depending on the college. Please check back for a schedule of commencement receptions
All graduating students should attend the Grad Fair, where they will pick up their caps and gowns, honors stoles and cords, and graduation announcements. Additionally, they will receive a gift from the UT Alumni Association, enjoy snacks, and have the opportunity to purchase Utah Tech memorabilia from the Campus Store booth and join the Alumni Association. The Grad Fair will be held on Thursday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Stephen & Marcia Wade Alumni House, 684 East 500 South (across the street from Greater Zion Stadium).
Caps and Gowns:
When graduates applied for graduation and paid the fee, their caps and gowns were included and will be available for pickup at the Grad Fair. All graduation fees must be paid at the Cashier’s Office (435-652-7605) on the First Floor of the Holland Centennial Commons.
Honors Cords, Stoles, and Certificates:
Honors graduates (both associate and bachelor’s degree recipients) can pick up their cords, stoles, and honors certificates at the Grad Fair. Individual department and program cords and stoles are distributed by the individual organization. Please contact the program or organization who provide individual regalia for where you can pick-up your regalia
