Learning Specialist Support

Students registered with our office are eligible to meet with the Learning Specialist during the fall and spring semesters.

Support Offered by the Learning Specialist:

A resource to help students learn skills to help them succeed in classes/areas of struggle.
Help with topics such as:
○ Time management
○ Overcoming task paralysis
○ Study skills
○ Test taking strategies
○ Coping skills for academic stress
○ Notetaking techniques
○ Navigating Canvas
○ Resiliency

What the Learning Specialist Does Not Do:

The Learning Specialist is not a tutor for specific class content.
