Our Story
What started as a bold idea in 2011 has become one of the most anticipated events of the year. When the Dixie Scholarship Associates pitched the concept to Del Beatty, then the brand-new Dean of Students, the goal was clear: shine a spotlight on local talent and raise critical scholarship funds for students facing tough times. From that vision, Dixie's Got Talent was born—and it's been dazzling audiences ever since. Now in our 14th year, the show has grown, evolved, and leveled up, with a fresh new energy brought by the Utah Tech University Entertainment Alliance. But at its core, the mission hasn't changed: celebrate incredible performers, uplift students, and bring the community together in support of higher education. As a kick-off to the new Dixie Days celebration, this event is more than just a talent show—it's a feel-good, high-energy night that brings campus and community together in an unforgettable way.
