Contract Policy and Procedure
Utah Tech University’s Contract Policy and Procedure establishes the standards for creating, reviewing, and approving contracts on behalf of the university. Clear Bag Policy
Utah Tech University’s Clear Bag Policy is designed to enhance safety and expedite entry at athletic and large campus events. Guests may bring clear bags that meet the approved size requirements (12″x12″), while small clutches and medically necessary items are permitted following inspection.

Free Speech & Assembly
Utah Tech University upholds the right to free speech and peaceful assembly while maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. Designated guidelines help balance open expression with the university’s responsibility to ensure safety, minimize disruptions, and support an environment where all voices can be heard.
Event Ticketing On Campus
Utah Tech University’s Centralized Event Ticketing policy ensures that all campus events requiring ticket sales are processed through the university’s official ticketing system PACIOLAN. This centralized approach provides consistency in ticketing practices, accurate financial reporting, enhanced customer service, and compliance with university and state regulations.
Inflatables on Campus
Utah State Risk Management no longer provides coverage for any liability insurance for physical/bodily harm or accident resulting from the use of trampolines or recreational inflatables (bounce houses, slides, obstacle courses, etc.). State Risk has discouraged all universities from the continued use of these items in activities held on/off campus.
Food On Campus
Utah Tech University’s Dining Services policy outlines the standards for providing food and beverage on campus, ensuring safety, quality, and consistency in all dining operations. The policy also establishes guidelines for catering, concessions, and outside food services to support health regulations and contractual obligations.
Minors on Campus
