The President’s Cabinet is made up of the Student Body President, Chief of Staff, Presidential Initiatives Coordinator, Director of Code Red, and the Belonging & Wellness Coordinator. Each student leader works hand in hand with the SBP to gain student feedback, support UTSA, engage volunteers, and to build tradition on campus.

What does the Student Body President do?

Represent – the Student Body President is the student body’s direct voice on the University’s Board of Trustee’s where they meet monthly to share student opinion, insight and voice on issues facing UT students. Additionally, they serve as the head of Student Government and work to create an impactful experience for all Trailblazer!

What is a Chief of Staff?

The Chief of Staff works to support the SBP as their righthand person. They support the UTSA Executive Council and all UTSA as the lead coordinator for leadership retreats, the student fee advisory board, and so much more!

What are the current presidential initiatives?

Currently, SBP Bella Estes is focused on three student pillars: representation, connection, and tradition. The Presidential Initiatives Coordinator works directly with Bella to create meaningful events, gather student voice, and build representation across UT student organizations.

How do I get involved with UTSA?

Reaching out to our Director of Code Red is a great start! They work to connect students with opportunities to volunteer in UTSA for everything from service projects, planning events, and representing your academic department.
