OVERVIEW

The Wellness Impact Area empowers students to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being while developing healthy habits that support lifelong success. Through educational programs, interactive activities, wellness events, and campus resources, students gain practical skills to manage stress, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and maintain a balanced lifestyle.

By participating in wellness-focused experiences, students discover that well-being is an essential part of academic achievement and personal growth. Every opportunity reflects Utah Tech’s commitment to Active Learning. Active Life. by helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

What We Do

The Active Life side of Wellness helps students build healthy habits, meaningful relationships, and a strong sense of well-being beyond the classroom. Through engaging programs, educational workshops, and community-building events, students gain practical life skills while connecting with campus resources and one another.

Examples of Wellness opportunities include:

  • Wellness Resource Fair – Connect with campus and community partners offering health, wellness, and support resources.
  • “Nobody Told Me About This” Series – Interactive workshops that provide practical life skills on topics such as setting boundaries, managing stress, navigating difficult situations, financial wellness, and building healthy habits.
  • Pancakes with the Pals – A welcoming social event that encourages students to build friendships, strengthen their sense of belonging, and connect with the Utah Tech community.
