Virtual submissions will go live early summer 2025!
WINNERS
Each category will have first, second, and third place winners.
Winners will be determined based on judges scoring and Donate to Vote.
RULES AND ELIGIBILITY
- Each member of the act must currently live in Washington County.
- Only one video submission, per act.
- Individuals may only compete it one act, per year.
- Acts with 3 or more members will only be permitted to compete in our Groups Category.
- All previous winners and runner ups are permitted to compete in our 2025 competition.
- Acts must be family friendly and age appropriate.
- No additions or substitutions to the members of the initial audition act will be permitted, including accompaniment.
- Acts must feature the same type of talent through each round.
- Once an act submits their video audition, fraternizing with the 2025 Dixie’s Got Talent judges is not allowed, and may result in disqualification.
- Every contestant, chaperone, director, and/or individual participating in Dixie’s Got Talent must uphold the Utah Tech University Code of Conduct. Which is not limited to respecting the audition, rehearsal, and performance spaces, the Dixie’s Got Talent staff, judges, other competitors, etc.
- In the event an act is disqualified, the next highest scoring audition will be offered the opportunity to compete.
- The Dixie’s Got Talent staff reserves the right to do what is necessary to maintain the integrity of the competition. Acts who fail to comply may face disqualification.

AUDITION FORM
- Fill in all of the required fields in the audition form.
- Upload your video file where indicated.
SUBMIT AUDITION VIDEO
Please use the following format to submit your audition video.
- Introduce yourself! Please state your name/group name, your talent type, and the title of your piece.
- Record your prepared audition piece.
- Your entire video audition, including your introduction, must be no longer than 90 seconds. Videos will be stopped at the 90 second mark.
- Video files must be .mp4 or.mov.
Submissions with auto-tune or any post edits will automatically be disqualified.
Post edits include, but are not limited to, video cuts, transitions, audio adjustments, color adjustments, captions, overlays, filters, etc.

ROUND TWO AUDITIONS
AUDITION DAY
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time.
- Check-in with a member of our Dixie’s Got Talent Staff.
- Each contestant will be required to complete a waiver form. All participants under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Groups may request a copy of the waiver prior to the callback auditions to ensure they are signed prior to check in. - Audition set up time must take no longer than 30 seconds. Acts that require more time will need to speak to a staff member on-site prior to audition time.
- If you are using a backtrack, make sure it is downloaded to your device and queued.
- A piano, stool, and speaker will be provided if needed.
- Auditions must be no longer than 90 seconds.
