Using Utah Tech Emails on PC

1. You may see an error dialog box like this
2. Click “OK“, close and open Outlook
3. If this doesn’t fix the problem, continue onto the next step.

Click “File“

1. Click “Account Settings”
2. Click “Change Profile”

A pop-up saying “Outlook needs to close” will pop up

• Click “OK”

Open Outlook again and then click “Options >>“

1. Check the “Set as default profile” checkbox
2. Click “New“

1. Enter a name for the email account
2. Click “OK“

1. Enter your Digital-ID@utahtech.edu or your Utah Tech email address
2. Click “Connect“

1. Enter your password if it asks for it and click “Sign In“
2. Click “Done“

Click “OK“

You will need to add and remove your account

1. If you are seeing the issue below, check “Always use my response for this server“
2. Click “Allow“

1. Click “Outlook“
2. Click “Preferences“

Click “Accounts“

1. Click on your old account
2. Click the minus sign ( – ) in the bottom left-hand corner of the prompt

Click “Sign Out“

1. Click the plus sing ( + ) in the bottom left-hand corner of the prompt
2. Click “New Account” or click the “Add Email Account” button

1. Enter your Digital-ID@utahtech.edu
2. Click “Continue“

1. Enter your password
2. Click “Sign in“

Click “Done“

How to remove your Digital-ID @utahtech.edu from the left side of the app

1. Click the settings button on the lower left-hand side
2. Click “Manage accounts” on the right-hand side

Click your account

Click “Delete account form this device“

Click “Delete“

Click “Done“

1. Click settings
2. Click the “+ Add account” button

Click “Office 365“

1. Type in your Digital-Id@utahtech.edu
2. Click “Next“

1. Enter your password and click the “Continue“
2. Click “Done“

Click “New Email“

1. Click “Options“
2. Select “From“
3. Click the dropdown arrow on “From“
4. Click “Other Email Address“

1. Enter your old Dmail address
2. Click “OK“

You should see your old Dmail address next to the “From“

Click “New Message“

1. Click the three dots that are towards the top right
2. Click “Show From“

1. Click the “From” button
2. If you don’t see your old email address, click “Other email address“

Type in your old email address in the “From” field and send as normal
